Automobile Repair Technician (Tests A1 – A9)
Advanced Level Specialist Tests (L1 - L4) Minimum three years full-time (or part-time
equivalent) Repair Technician experience required to receive credit for these job duties.
Auto Maintenance & Light Repair Technician (Test G1) One year maximum Repair Technician credit for these job duties, regardless of how long you have performed them.
Parts Specialist (Tests P1, P2, and P4) Repair Technician experience does not satisfy this
requirement.
M/H Truck, School Bus, Transit Bus, or Truck Equipment Technician (Tests E1 – E3, H1 – H8, L2, MIL2 – MIL8, S1 – S7, and T1 – T8)
Collision Repair Technician or Refinisher (Tests B2 – B5)
Collision Damage Estimator (Test B6) Repair Technician experience does not satisfy this
requirement.
Automobile Service Consultant (Test C1) Repair Technician experience does not satisfy this
requirement.
